Bio:

Chan Wei Tuck earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in piano performance from West Virginia University. His principal piano teachers were James Miltenberger, Christine Kefferstan, and Lee Yin Hwa, with further musical training through masterclasses with Tan Siok Lian, Ng Chong Lim, Scott Beard, Lisa Emenheiser, Julie Bees, Stephan Möller, and Murray McLachlan. He studied composition with David Taddie. He received few composition awards, including first prize at Free Hand 2022 and third prize at the Golden Key Piano Composition Competition 2019 (International Professional Category). His commissioned works include Motion for piano for the Fifth UCSI University International Piano Festival and Competition, and Perhentian No. 1 for piano commissioned by ASWARA.
